The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) caters to students who seek to enroll in various intermediate courses. The board has created a new online platform that is accessible to all eligible students in Bihar state. The Online Facilitation System for Students (OFSS) is the unique digital system developed to help the student apply for admission to various courses such as:

• Arts
• Science
• Commerce
• Agriculture

Students can apply in any college and school besides the minority institutions and residential institutions.  The student should check whether the college or school is accredited and approved by BSEB. One can select any institution in the 38 districts in Bihar state, India.

Eligible students

To avail of the OFSS Bihar portal, the student should pass the matriculation or have an equivalent examination from BSEB, Indian Certificate of Secondary Education, Central Board of Secondary Education, national or state boards.  The board allows students to apply through the online system “Common Application Form CAF,” easily found in www.ofssbihar.in. Note the process attracts an application fee of Rs. 350. Ensure to use the approved payment mode described on the portal.

• Suppose the student pays using bank Challan; they should deposit it at the nearest Allahabad Bank or SBI branch.
• After filling in the request details, enter the active mobile number and email ID to get alerts.
• The system will send an OTP code for the mobile number verification process.
• The applicant should cross-check their details.
• Ensure to attach all required documents before applying.
• Note students must pay the application form for the system to accept the form.

To proceed with the 11^th entry admission process, the user must provide and attain the required qualifications. Students can apply through a common application form which is Rs. 300 application fee. It is also easy to pay for the application using credit cards, debit cards, or net baking platforms.

How to Recover or Change the OFSS Password (Forgot Password)

1. Navigate to the official website and select the “forgot password” option.

3. Next, enter your registered mobile number in the space provided.
4. The system will send an OTP to the number.
5. Use the code to verify the details and proceed with the reset password process.
6. Now set a new login password and re-confirm.
