Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) is one of the central armed police forces in India. The force works under the Ministry of Home affairs. India has a great number of armed forces that all work under the central government. The forces have different duties, but the sole purpose is to maintain law and order. The SSB was launched in 2001 where it was referred to as the special service Bureau. The force has two rank structures one which is gazette officers (GO’s) and the non-gazette officers (NGO’s). SSB workers at the borders of India country where they check for illegal activities, maintain law and order.

The SSB forces can now check and download SSB pay slip monthly download pdf online at member login portal through the official website as follows:
- Navigate to the SSB official website https://www.ssb.nic.in/.
- On the home screen check for “member login tab”
- Proceed to enter the username and password.
- Enter the captcha code and then sign in.
- The payslip information will show.
- Check and click on the download and print tab to get a copy.
SSB Password Recovery Reset Process
Each personnel has a password for their account page. This has to be secret and used only by the user. However, one might forget username or password or want to change to a new password.
- Go to the official website page http://www.ssb.nic.in
- On the right side of the homepage select the member login.
- Enter the user name id and then go to the “forgot password”.
- A new page will open, enter the username ID and the registered mobile number.
