EPF account grants the registered employee retirement freedom. The employee and employer save a portion of the monthly salary for a set period. The funds benefit the employee and their families through medical insurance, retirement benefits, pension and other financial services. The central government and EPFO require all EPF members to seed their EPF details with UAN and Aadhaar card.
Employee details such as name, date of birth, address, and more should match Aadhaar details. This will assist in EPF withdrawal services during retirement.
