The scheme benefits will help users receive health services from state government hospitals in the district and sub-center level. The health centers will provide free quality services to all registered scheme members. The government provides additional Rs. 200 000 on the insurance cover.

Odisha economically weak residents will receive quality health care services under the Odisha Biju Swasthya Kalyan scheme. The government aims to provide Rs. 5 lakhs and Rs. 7lakhs for female beneficiaries.
- Drop back assistance
Pregnant women under the scheme and sick children will benefit directly from the funds. The government has allocated Rs. 500 for pregnant women and children. They will get free medical and delivery services at the authorized hospitals.
- Free health care services
All beneficiaries will receive free services from the empanelled hospitals in and out of Odisha state.
Smart health cards The government has extended the scheme to provide health benefits to eligible Odisha citizens. The scheme’s financial benefits help reduce the selling of the property to cater to treatment. The Odisha government has also introduced the smart health card. The health card is designed as a credit card to help users avail health facilities.
Odisha state government has introduced the cards in phases. The scheme beneficiaries will receive in set order starting from 1st September. There are more than 200 empanelled hospitals in the country, where 183 are situated in the state and others outside the state. Odisha Biju Swasthya Kalyan scheme applicants can avail of any health issue at the said hospitals for free.

Out of the 200 authorized hospitals, 17 are outside Odisha state. The government considers Odisha citizens living outside the state and other citizens.
How much is the Odisha Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana scheme charge for applications and hospital services?
The government doesn’t charge any amount for the registration or applications process. There are no charges for any health care services in the empanelled health centers.
